Our History

2006

Good Life Motors Nampa opened with 4 parking spaces, a cell phone, and 1 piece of junk pickup.

2008

We discovered Craigslist was a popular site to advertise our cars for free.

2009

The Great Recession is in full swing. Many people are looking for a cheap car that they can pay cash for. Good Life Motors Nampa was in the right place at the right time. While large dealers were laying people off, Good Life Motors Nampa was selling 100% of its inventory every month because of low overhead and low prices.

2010

We hired Elden Stokes, a computer whiz, who gave us a competitive advantage by writing software that helped us leap frog over other dealers at the auction who were still looking up car values in physical booklets! I was tracking values in real time using Elden’s software on brand new technology called an iPhone.

2012

We painted a yellow Ford Escape 5 different colors and put our name on it. It seemed like a smart idea at the time.

2014

Good Life Motors Nampa moves to the former building of Jim’s Heating and Cooling on Fairview, doubling our parking capacity to 65 cars. It seemed we had finally become a legit car dealership, with 4 shop bays, a large sales office, and street frontage.

2019

Good Life Motors Nampa becomes the #1 independent dealer for Capital Educator’s Credit Union, sending them over $2 million in loans that year.

2020

Good Life Motors Nampa outgrows the Fairview location and acquires a former grocery store in Nampa. This former Paul’s Market offers a 20,000 sq ft show room, and capacity for 130 vehicles.

Meet Our Team

Brad Tibbs

Owner

Brad went to Meridian High School, Northwest Nazarene University, and then spent five years in Kansas City where he went to seminary and worked at the Kansas City Rescue Mission. A co-worker in the car business helped him to purchase a car at wholesale to raise money for a fundraiser. Brad caught the bug and opened Boise Auto Clearance in 2006 with one $1000 piece of junk pickup! His wife Jenelle scoots around town in "CC", the colorful car. Brad and Jenelle's 3 kids have washed cars, made cookies for customers, and have ridden in their car seats in hundreds of car that have come and gone through the dealership. They love travel and serving others. They have volunteered in 12 different countries working with church organizations and nonprofit service.

Dave White

Operations Manager

Dave was born in Madrid, Spain and was raised overseas as a military dependent. He graduated high school in Vicenza, Italy and attended college at the University of Maryland European Division, Boise State University, and the Community College of the Air Force. He proudly served in the Air Force for 15 years before making Boise his permanent home in 2007. Dave has lived in 8 different countries and countless states during his upbringing and tenure with the Air Force. Dave has worked in the private sector as a Human Resource Manager for many years before making the leap into the auto industry where he has spent the last 6 years. Dave has been working for Boise Auto Clearance for the past 2 1/2 years providing its customers a "world class" red carpet experience from the moment they enter our doors. We look forward to serving your automotive needs.
